These hosiery products are sold under numerous brand names, including Gildan, Under Armour, GoldToe, PowerSox, Signature Gold by Goldtoe, Peds, MediPeds, Therapy Plus, All Pro, Secret, Silks, Secret Silky, and American Apparel. Furthermore, Gildan manufactures underwear for men and boys, as well as women's panties, primarily under the Gildan and Gildan Platinum brands. The enterprise, founded in 1946, was initially known as Textiles Gildan Inc. before officially changing its name to Gildan Activewear Inc. in March 1995.
